Advanced Editing Mode

Selecting Formats to Edit

Click the metadata format button you want to edit at the top of the window. For MOV, you can choose from three types: “iTunes”, “QuickTime” and “User”. For MP4, M4V, M4A, you can choose from two types: “iTunes” and “QuickTime”. For MP3, you can choose from two types: “ID3v2” and “ID3v1”.

Metadata Items

The editing view for each format except ID3v1 is divided into fixed items in the upper part and variable items in the lower part, which can be adjusted in the Settings.

Lyrics

iTunes and ID3v2 formats have the metadata item of lyrics. To show the lyrics editing view, click the Lyrics button at the top right of the window.

Artwork

iTunes, QuickTime and ID3v2 formats have the metadata item of artwork. To show the artwork editing view, click the Artwork button at the top right of the window.

Image files can be added by drag & drop them onto the artwork view, or by using the add sheet that appears by clicking the "+" button in the lower left corner.

When one video file is selected in the sidebar and the player appears, the button appears as shown in the left figure. Clicking the button will add the currently displayed frame image in the player to the artwork. You can also drag & drop from the player view to add it to the artwork editing view.

Showing the Player Window: Double-click a file in the sidebar, or choose View > Show Player.

GPS

QuickTime and User formats have the metadata item of GPS. To show the GPS editing view, click the GPS button at the top right of the window.

You can edit it by clicking on the map.
